Polynucleotides is a skin boosting, biostimulator injectable treatment, that introduces PDRN (polydeoxyribomucleotide) into the dermis. The PDRN is usually derived from salmon or trout DNA fractions.
Once injected the product then stimulates fibroblast activity to promote new collagen and elastin formation, and also promotes hydration and repair at cellular level.
As with any injectable treatment, they may be some discomfort. A topical ( on the skin) numbing agent will be applied prior to the procedure, to help reduce discomfort. I can also guide you through breathing techniques to aid your comfort.
Skin cell renewal can be around 28 days (increasing as we get older).
This product is designed to be administered one month apart, for 2 - 3 months, depending on response, or intended outcome. A further maintenance treatment is advised every further 6 months. We can discuss a plan of treatment at consultation stage.
A list of contraindications to this treatment will be discussed with your practitioner prior to appointment. These will also be discussed during consultation along with a medical questionnaire.

Very rarely there may be areas of bruising around the more delicate areas, where a cold compress may be applied.
