Microdermabrasion is a deep clean system to help remove toxins and impuritues, to help establish a healthy skin, which can be fundamental prior to progression to more advanced treatments, such as chemical peels and microneedling.
Using the Zemits microdermabrasion system, we focus on cleansing and exfoliating, prior to treating the skin with radio frequency/skin tightening, no needle mesotherapy product absorption, cryotherapy cold hammer treatment, and 02 skin serum absorption spray.
This treatment, does not hurt, but certain aspects may feel unusual, and may need adjusting to what is comfortable for you. Every setting of this treatment will be adjusted towards your individual needs, to maintain a level that you will feel relaxed with. Rest assured that the resulting feeling is of a clean and fresh skin.
Skin cell renewal can be around 28 days (increasing as we get older) so I advise a monthly treatment for a stand alone deep skin cleaning plan.
Often this deep cleaning treatment is used to prepare the skin for more advanced treatments such as chemical peels and microneedling, but this is something that will be discussed with myself during the consultation, or throughout your treatment.
A list of contraindications to this treatment will be discussed with your practitioner prior to appointment. These will also be discussed during consultation along with a medical questionnaire.
These treatments may cause mild erythema (redness) which will calm within a few hours. In the unlikely event of discomfort, paracetamol may be taken (ibuprofen may increase bruising). If erythema (redness) persists then an antihistamine may be taken - contact me for advice 07890182919
Very rarely there may be areas of bruising around the more delicate areas, where a cold compress may be applied.
Using aseptic techniques will help prevent any risks of infection. If any concerns of infection please contact me - 07890182919.
