Ice globe therapy is a cryotherapy procedure evolved from traditional cold therapy practices.

The gentle pressure of Gua Sha aids removal of lymphatic fluid (puffiness), increases circulation and relaxes muscle tension, by the manual upward and outward strokes of the cold stone tool, provided by your therapist. Using a heart shaped tool enables precision for the varying contours of the face.

Ice globes are rolled over the face in movements following the lymphatic pathways to reduce puffiness. Whilst cold therapy constricts blood vessels, it then triggers vasodilation of blood vessels, increasing nutrient supply to facial tissues.

The pressure used in each treatment is gentle, as the facial lymphatic vessels lay very close to the skins surface - any harder pressure will be ineffective for the removal of lymph fluid.
